Is this fair? (a little long)

We paid $75 for a roll of 12 black and white pictures,(crazy I know) well we got back our proofs the other day and there were only 6. So I called and one woman told me that they took all 12 but they take out the ones that people have their eyes closed etc. So I then asked her why the picutres of my MIL and a few picutes of me weren't taken out because our eyes were closed in different picutres. She didn't have an answer for that one, so I asked if we could get the $37.50 credit towards other photos we will order, she puts me on the phone with the office manager, and before I could even really say anything the office manager says well we can't give you a credit but any 6 photos you want we will make black and white. I just think it sounds fishy. Maybe I am just being picky.

I agree. It sounds fishy because you already paid them, and they're not going to refund you anything. So to keep you happy, they'll do this 'perk'. I'm not sure if I'd just let it sit like that. $75 for a service that they didn't follow through with. It's kind of absurd.

I agree, these people think they can get away with everything.

that sounds weird, why hnot give oyu all the pics and you deicde which are good or not?? maybe one or two people oculd be cropped out or something and the rest of the pic could be salvaged?? i think, and its just my opinion, that maybe somehting happened and they messed them up somehow and aren't being completely honest....
