To write checks that have my maiden name on them. Account has been changed to married name.

it should be ok. As long as the signature matches what the bank has on file. Noone will even the difference

Yes its fine......to make sure I would call the bank but if the account number hasnt changed then there shouldnt be a problem

Ok I am dumb...I work for a bank but never know these dumb little things!
Anyway my signature is my new last name but whatever.

Yup and you're not dumb...I asked my bank that question too I just used them all up and just recently ordered new ones with my married name.

My bank told me it was okay. I didn't want to throw out all of the checks with my maiden name still on there and they said I could still use them. I have Commerce.

We had a tone of checks left after we got married and they still have my Madien name on them. Our bank told us it was fine. I sign my married name on them. It is okay!!
