Is this ok to do?

I ordered two items off a friend of DH's registry for her shower. They were accidentally sent to me. I couldn't go to the shower b/c we were on our honeymoon, and they live a ways away.

So, I ordered two more items off her registry and had it sent to her with a gift card. She knew I was out of town for her shower.

I now have the two gifts I'd ordered off her registry here. Rather than go all the way to Long Island to return them, would it be ok to wrap and gift bag them, then bring them as an additional gift to the wedding (in addition to a check which we would have given anyway).

I would have thought it was nice to get a few extra items off my registry in addition to cash at my wedding, but will it be ok to do?

Re: Is this ok to do?

Of course. I gave Claud china as part of her wedding gift. I, once was told that you always remember who gave you a gift at your wedding because you don't get many. And it is true I think. I got 4-5 actual gifts at the wedding and it was nice to open some boxes in addition to cards.
