So on my commute to work I sat by the window of a three seater. I was alone in it. Then at the next stop a woman sits next to me. But in the middle seat like right next to me. And she kept moving around and elbowing me and whatnot. It was like this till we got to Penn. Wouldnt you think she would sit by the aisle and not on top of me????? Sometimes commuting really s*cks!!!

Re: is this weird??
Very weird. It would make sense if it was a packed train and she was leaving room for another person to sit on the end but if she saw that no one was taking that seat then she should have moved over. Maybe she just wanted to be close to you....

I would have been like excuse me and got up and moved. I can't stand people on the freaking train. I used to purposely put my big bag that I would carry to school with me in the middle seat and only move it if there was someone sitting in the aisle and the train was packed. But I feel ya I used to have stuff like that happen all the time.

i would have kept squirming in my seat, or looking at the empty seat then at her until she moved. i've done that before, and it's worked. i hate when people do that.

ok - just throwing this out there - was it an old train or a new one? if its an older one, she might have wanted the seat with the higher back. . . but if its a new one, that is just odd. I probably would have asked her to move over.

I hate when people do that, I also never understand that either. If there is a rare occurance of an empty train during rush hour, take advantage, why sit right next to me
at least you were nice. One time this lady sat next to DH and she didnt stop moving the entire time, she would move to one side then move her body the other way and kept fidgeting around and just wouldn't stop. DH finally got so annoyed, he got up and told her 'OMG w** is wrong with you, are you a child' he has issues though and whatever comes to his mind he will say outloud.

thats really weird- she should have sat in the other seat- especially since she was obviously so cramped and kept hitting into you

OMG, I think the same thing....like *** is wrong with people, can't they sit like an adult for an hour or so?! It makes me insane!!! And, I'm the type where I hate to say anything...I don't like to draw attention, so I'll be abused for the whole friggin' ride!

I was squirming and like acted as though I was uncomfortable. But she didn't budge. And I was half asleep. i pass out on the train! LOL. I also get tre annoyed when Im at teh window seat and a man sits at the aisle seat and then another man decides to take the middle. this has happened to me a few times- Im like squished up against the arm rest by the window and it hurts! 2 full grown men cannot fit with a third person in the three seaters!!!!
And to add to this, you walk on the left of the escolators and stand on the right. And you walk on the right side of the stairs!!!! Its like driving people!!! Come on! LOL!

Honestly I can't remember! it might have been an older one- the trains lately have been new old new old like everyother day....

I def would have got up and then given her a dirty look. That was a good point about the older trains----I've seen people do that.
Sometimes when people annoy me on the train, I take their pic w/ my phone and thank they for contributing to my blog about annoying people on the train. (I don't have 1....I just like to see their faces when i say that!)
