jamaican resorts

having some trouble ladies.

i'm trying to find a fun resort for DH and I to go to in Dec and the resorts i'm finding in Jamaica seem to be around 2 hours away from the airports. I really don't wnat to be in a car for that long after a long flight....any recommendations for Jamaican resorts closer to the airport?

Thanks :)

Riu Ochos rios. About 1:45 mins away...but well worth the drive.

The Rockhouse......
Its not at all close to the hotel....it is definitely a far drive but great. Perhaps you can just look at a map of the hotels and choose 2 or 3 close to the airports and narrow it down that way.

FYI~ We went to Jamiaca for our HM and stayed at Sandals Whitehouse and it was 2 hrs from the Montego Bay airport.....it was the worst bus ride ever! I was so sick and hot and uncomfortable. I would never do it again. We booked our anniversary trip to Jamaica again adn we are staying at Sandals Royal Carribean which is 10 minutes from the Montego Bay airport. I would NEVER do that bus ride again! It was terrible!! All I can say is Dramamine!!!!

We went to Sandals Ocho Rios and it was about an hour and half. The time has been cut down significantly due to the near completion of the highway and by the time you get there it might be even shorter.
