Jillian Michael's is no joke!

Jillian Michael's is no joke!

I did one of her DVD's on Saturday (30-Day Shred). It's a 20-minute circuit training routine. I thought how hard could it be?
Um, I'm still sore. Like can't straighten my arms sore! And I did level one!
I highly recommend it if you want a quick, but intense workout!

Just hand weights. It's 3 mins of strength training, 2 mins of cardio, followed by one minute of abs, repeated a few times. The moves are simple but b/c she goes from one to the next, your heart rate stays up. There's also level 2 and 3 when you're ready for more intensity.
I use 8 and 10lb weights at home, but I think the 8 was too heavy for some of her moves. She did a lot of high repetitions, so I think 5 would've been a little better. I probably would've still felt the burn, but be able to move my arms by now.

Thanks for the recommendation. I was going to buy hers, but I bought a few of the Turbo Jam DVD's from Amazon instead.

Nice!! I'm picking it up tomorrow. I have a short attention span, so 20 minutes works for me.
