Job Interview Question

So I had an interview this past Friday and I thought it went pretty well. The interviewer said she had some more people to interview and would most likely know at the end of this week (meaning this Friday). So I went home and wrote her a thank you note which I always do and figured I woudlnt hear anything yet. I just saw that I had a missed call from the company but NO voice message. I thought that was weird- like maybe it was a mistake? So I called back but the interviewer wasnt available and left a message saying that I received a missed call. Is that strange? Has this happened to anyone? Do you think they were calling to tell me I didnt get the position that quickly? Lol im soooo confused! And now I'm just waiting to hopefully hear back.

Perhaps they just had a question for you, or if there is another round of interviews they wanted to see if you're available?

Once it happened to me. They were having trouble getting in touch with one of my references. Here's hoping they're calling to offer you the job though!
