Just bought 3 new nail polishes...

And will be returning all three of them! lol They looked so perfect in the bottles and I came home and put them on (one on each finger lol) and they look awful! I am looking for a dark maroon/brown perhaps with some sort of shimmer...any thoughts?

What about

Heart my JR Jewels
Lacy Not Racy
Berry Hard
or Decadent Diva (this has shimmer)

I have a preference for Essie. Their colors just stay on and arent watery.

---

I go back and forth with this arguement with my friend all the time. She hates OPI and thinks it chips way more than Essie. I think Essie chips way more and thats why every nail place uses it! To keep you coming back!

I've started doing this manicure called Mani Q and now i only have to go once every two weeks. Its my FAVEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

Its basically a special gel manicure. They use the UV to harden it and my polish never chips!!!!!! I can honestly make almoooooooost 3 weeks but I'm usually sick of a color by then, haha.

I am not sure how its different than a gel manicure but literally EVERY single person in my nail place does mani-q instead of regular manis. They're a little more expensive (25) but my time is worth it!!!!!!!!!!

here is a technical definition:

mani Q natural nail was created in response to the demands and needs of nail technicians, salon owners and their clients the world over
A clearly beautiful, sublimely resilient, entirely new, soak off natural nail care gel that will not chip, crack, break or discolour - for FOUR long weeks!
Specially formulated mani Q is a flexible and durable UV gel that will enhance your natural nails. A one component gel that is simple and easy to use with minimal buffing and offers a healthy, safe and effective natural gel overlay that will give your clients the support and strength that they demand.
mani Q takes around 15 minutes to apply, cures with a regular UV bonding lamp and simply soaks off with acetone.
