Awwwww. I changed my passport on Friday and felt funny signing the new name.
It's what I tell DH I have been ____ for 26 years I need time to get adjusted to the new name

awww I feel your pain..I changed mine a few weeks ago and it was weird...still is when people call me by my new name. But, I'm sure I'll get used to it soon and so will you.

In one of my classes my professor calls us by our last name. And there is this girl that has my maiden name. Everytime my professor says Ms ____ I always look up. The people in my class must think I am a weirdo

well my name isnt common anyone that has it is related to me so I wouldnt have that problem. At least it is only 1 syllable now!

I have a question about this. Can I legally hyphenate my name but change my name on all my other stuff (license, credit cards, etc.) to just DH last name? That way I could still feel like I have my maiden name but keep DH happy by using his?

i think the weirdest thing for me was meeting new ppl & telling them my full name... its like, wow - thats the only name you know me by, but to me its still weird!! lol

I received a hissy fit from DH, but I'm glad I kept my maiden name. However I'm considering adding his name to mine on my drivers license.

I did my license and my passport last week. It is hard. I was glad they let me keep my old license though!!!

I changed my passport on Friday but my license still has my maiden name so I got the ticket with both names. Should I bring my old passport as well since my license and passport wont match.
I am flying out tommorrow so any help anyone can give me would be great!
