Just curious- who has health insurance

Just curious. I dont have health insurance...been a few years actually. Im suppose to get it in about 2mths from my new job...

I have health insurance. Both of our jobs supply it, but DH claimed his was 'better' especially because we got a buy back from my job Little did he know his rates would go up in January meaning no savings

I havent had it in 4 yrs but now that Im prego I do under DH's but its expensive and its a $2000 deductible and we pay 20% after and my kids I pay $360 for them a month for insurance

i don't think there has ever been a time when i didn't have it. I just paid whatever it took. Since December though I've been on DH's plan and his job pays for it 100% and its a pretty good plan, better then anything else i ever had!

covered under DH's plan---for a couple of years i didn't have it and it stunk.

right now my dad isn't covered anymore by my mom's insurance (basstards) and now he's been experiencing some serious prostate issues and its like the doctors don't care about him cause he doesn't have insurance and has to pay cash. he has to do a bunch of tests on monday and he's in so much pain with a catheter---and they told him he needs to bring $2K with him for the tests!

I was without it for a couple years, but now I'm on DH's plan. i hated not having health insurance. I only went to the doctor once when I didn't have it, and I got a bill for $800 just for routine bloodwork on top of the $150 I had to pay to see the doctor.

i have it - and through my job - dave has it. he was on it prior to our marriage because my job recognized domestic partners..

DEFINTELY get covered, at least for emergency room only, if not anything else.

If something happens to you, your life savings could disappear.

dh & i JUST got health insurance for the first time in 2years....my job offered it & while yea, my paycheck is a bit smaller, we are so relieved!

We didn't have it for about 8 months. Luckily with DH's new job we're covered.

Same here - DH was on my plan for over a year before we got married. I couldn't stand the fact that he did not have insurance! Since we lived together, already we claimed Domestic Partnership.
