a question:

Too many times, we see that one of our friends on here has had something sad happen to them or their families. The poster often asks for your prayers. But I want to know...

how many of you ACTUALLY pray when asked on here? And I don't mean hitting the pray emote-icon. I mean ACTUALLY pray.

Feel free to use the poll and no post if you are uncomfortable. I know its a personal issue. But I'm just curious.

I do the same- pray quickly while reading the post.. I also pray each night before bed & I mention those that need prayers. Just something simple

I do! Definitely!!! I'm not a churchy type of girl but I VERY strongly believe in the power of prayer....

I do say a little prayer to myself. Often times it is generalized to help all those that are in need.

I usually do those prayers before I start my hard core prayers for winning the lotto

i guess i'm the only heathen...

I have only prayed once in my life..and it was to pray that my friend didn't pass away
My prayer didn't work so I never prayed again

me too...i am not a religious church goer but have a huge faith in god...i always say i have more faith than religion...i add them to my 'list' at night

Most of the time I will keep people in my prayers. For example every night I think of Danni Rella and say a prayer for her family.

I don't get it when people ask for hugs . They will say i need some hugs but no further info I don't get how a emoticon can help them.

ok, i HAVE prayed for dani's brother in mass.

I don't know, I guess I usually do at night when I say my prayers. A lot of times I never see the posts, but if I do I will include them in my prayers. Maybe I should just say all the LIW ladies at night lol...

I can't go on all day at work.. otherwise your a$$$$$ would be grass

I say a quick prayer while pressing the and if it is something that sticks in my mind ( like Dani's brother ) I will say another prayer when I light a candle before mass.

tilde ....Im with you all the way, thats exactly what I do....and theres something about lighting the candle (although I never get there early enough and always do it after mass) that makes me do the prayers then

Yup, me too. It's kinda funny if I don't know or remember someones REAL name, I'll say their screen name. I figure the Big Guy knows who I'm talking about!
