Too many times, we see that one of our friends on here has had something sad happen to them or their families. The poster often asks for your prayers. But I want to know...
how many of you ACTUALLY pray when asked on here? And I don't mean hitting the pray emote-icon. I mean ACTUALLY pray.
Feel free to use the poll and no post if you are uncomfortable. I know its a personal issue. But I'm just curious.

honestly i do not pray in a normal sense: 'dear god' it's not my thing. If it really hits me and its gotta be something huge like dying child, major illness etc and i kinda know you/like you, i will send a positive thought. It is my version of prayer, no dear god, amen at the end b/s just i think of you will be better or things will work out.

I usually say a prayer right after, or if I forget I'll just broad brush it and say -'and for anyone else who needs my prayers' or anyone else I promised to pray for
Probably not the most elegant solution, but i do pray.

I do say a little prayer to myself. Often times it is generalized to help all those that are in need.
I usually do those prayers before I start my hard core prayers for winning the lotto

I do the same- pray quickly while reading the post.. I also pray each night before bed & I mention those that need prayers. Just something simple
Same here. I always say my prayers before bed. Lately my list seems to be growing and growing.

i'm honestly more of a 'keep 'em in my thoughts' kinda gal.
i have *hoped* for people .... does that count?
i'm just not really a 'dear g-d, its me margaret' person (though i did love the book as a kid!)
