DH and i went to look at apartments/houses today and found a great place in Long Beach, it is basically a whole house completely renovated! Gorgeous and I am dying for it. We put in a bid with the broker and are waiting to hear back, I hate waiting!!! Keep your fingers crossed!
Yeah it is so nice, really Long Beach can be iffy you find some great prices but than you see these places and they are scary, this place is a big 2 bedroom 2 bathroom, all stainless appliances, granite counter tops, wine fridge, washer dryer, fire place, hard wood floors, garage..ok totally rambling it is just so nice. I feel like calling the broker again!

oh no sorry don't get the wrong idea. DH had no problem with the area itself at all. The only problem he has with it is the fact that from some parts of LB, it can take 15-20 mins to get to a highway. He didnt want to deal with that for his commute when he has far drives and has to get there early. I like the area alot and so does he, if it wasnt for that then he would consider it.

OHHH no no i didn't get offended at all! lol believe me we have the same feeling about the commute sometimes, it kills me and DH knows it. He takes the train but I drive and it makes me insane sometimes. I grew up in Rockville Centre and even that is hard for me to think about driving to!

woohooO!!!!!! DH and I are planning on moving to long beach also! but we have to wait until our lease is up (till april/may) uhh
but we figured if we cant afford a house yet, we might as well live on the beach for awhile!![]()
