Just got yelled at at work

I can't win this week...I feel like I am second guessing everything I do and it's because I've made errors! I have to get it together. I've been with this firm for 10 years and not worried about my position here just more hate messing up and need to focus! I feel like I just got yelled at by my mother... Hopefully I can recharge on our vacation this weekend. Just venting!

you're pregnant right?

ya know it could have something to do with that baby in your belly. i've had friends say that all memory retention and organization disappers during pregnancy

Aww, I hate to make mistakes too, but you still shouldn't have been yelled at. The weekend is almost here!

Still they shouldn't yell at a pregnant woman and upset yo, you should be stress free. Sorry you went through that

Try not to worry about it too much. This vacation is coming to you at the perfect time. When you come back to work things will be back to normal.

I know I've heard the same thing and i really believe there is some truth to that. I just went to get water and realized i just got water before.

I sometimes work quickly and know that I need to slow down but I've made a conscious effort to realize this and still overlooked something! Sometimes I feel like it's erros they make in their corrections but I don't catch it and than it falls on me...oh well there is nothing I can do!

I was going to say this too. I keep hearing that lately, that you get 'pregnancy brain'...you have trouble remembering things and concentrating.

I know, I get the same way and I try to slow down sometimes because I hate when I make little oversights. Considering you've worked there so long and they probably know it's not really like you, they could have a little patience too...not that you're asking for special treatment.

it's so true. i've been incredibly scatter-brained since getting pregnant.

sorry you got yelled at. sounds like that vacation is much needed.

It's funny too because I feel like crying now lol. It's my fault though so I take the blame.

i'm sure you just need a break...this weekend you'll recharge and be back in gear!

i'm the same way, want to get the job done and move the next...sometimes it's the proofreading that just needs a few extra seconds!

aww..i HATE that feeling. I remember at one of my old jobs, I just always felt as tho I was doing something wrong. Ugh. Hang in there. Try to relax on your vacation - time away always seems to help

its preggo brain I promise! I was the same way at work too. What helped me was to take a 15 min. break during the day and just relax, soon you'll even be able to sit outside and just get fresh air!

Aww don't cry hun EVERYONE is entitled to make mistakes. Especially when we are pregnant lol :) I agree with the other girls about the pregnant 'brain'.
