Just saw this on the news

There is a website called Spokeo that will show all your info. Address, age, everything. You can remove this info.

1)Search for your name
2)if it shows click on it
3)copy the URL address
4)on the bottom of the page there is a privacy tab- click on it and put the URL address in it along with your e-mail
5)hit ok
6) you will get an e-mail to confim it

It will be off that site.

Agh! Yes...I saw this a few years ago, and I was like ????

It's very scary that they have these websites where people can get all this crazy information about you!

I saw that this morning too....just went online and removed my listing. It had my hobbies down as travel and cooking....I have NO clue where they got that from!!!

Even if you remove yourself from this site, you would be shocked what info you can find out about people on the internet. Anyone with a Lexis password can find anything and everything about you.

its been around for a while, well, if not this one, then others... you can opt out, but they'll just put you on another site. its annoying.

I just found out about this from work. It's very creepy, but I also have to laugh at some of the MAJOR inaccuracies on it.

i told all my family about this- it had DH's dad, brother and aunt's name on his! and it had both of our addresses and phone numbers!! this is unbeleivable. i wish i made 345,000 though
