Shredded a million credit card receipts, contracts, online orders, to do lists, every little detail over a long engagement.
Its really over...
Time to plan bigger and better things, like finding a way to move out of this apartment into our own house.
Now how do I make a to do list for that??

Re: Just threw out my wedding binder
I saved mine to show my children how much we spent. I am sure by then things will have tripled

Re: Just threw out my wedding binder
I have a book where I wrote down everything I did/paid to keep, but all the little papers and notes I just got rid of.

Re: Just threw out my wedding binder
Oh no!! I could never throw out my wedding binder!!! Funny...I am more sentimentally attached to my wedding binder than my actual wedding gown!! LOL! I did do alot of cleaning up a month or so before the wedding and trimmed it down a mere 5 lbs from the original 30 lbs so that I could keep it.

Re: Just threw out my wedding binder
I took the binder apart but saved most of the contents like the contracts. I thought it would also be fun to look back on in 40 years or so to see how prices changed.

Re: Just threw out my wedding binder
I threw out a lot of stuff but I kept my binder and contracts and most other little lists. I think it will be fun to look back on things when my children are ready to get married.
I know my dad married my stepmom in 1988 at Crest Hollow and they used Jack & Rose florist. I would have loved to look at their stuff during my planning!

Re: Just threw out my wedding binder
My father had one for our wedding. He probably still has it after 12 years! He used it to compare to my sister's wedding, but is was 9 years later so prices REALLY went up!

Re: Just threw out my wedding binder
I kept he actual binder, but threw out the contents, except for the photogrophy stuff, b/c that is ongoing.
I did however, save the gift list from my shower & emails DH had printed out from when he was trying to help my mom & MOH with my shower.
ETA-- I do have a budget list saved on my PC.

I put mine in the crawl space. I am definitely keeping it as a memento! I lived with that binder for a year

Re: Just threw out my wedding binder
Mine are all in a folder, which is shoved into a plastic envelope. Don't feel bad. No binder here. My stuff is a mess.
I'm going to throw it out, but I want to try to get a final tally of what I spent.
