DH marched in a parade yesterday and I took my god-daughter to see him. She's 9. The WHOLE time she was just so excited to see him, asking where he was each time a fire department passed us and it wasn't his. This little girl is like a daughter to me, my life, so it's made me feel so good to see her so excited to see DH. She couldn't wait for him to be done so she could see him in his uniform and give him a hug and kiss. Anyway, he bent down to take a pic with her and put his hat on her. She was so excited! It was really cute and I just cherish the moment.

that is adoooorable!!! I know that feeling, and it IS amazing She is tooooooo pretty Everytime I hear my nieces and nephews say 'Uncle Dan' I crack up still!

AWWW I love the Columbus day parade it's my favorite!
DH didn't march with his dept this year, he was the drum major for the pipes and drums for Hicksville.

toooo cute!!! Your GD is sooo cute (& DH too!)!!! As i kid i remember loving fireman & policeman!!! (what woman doesn't love a man in those uniforms!! haha)
