Kauai Hyatt Brides that used Spa Svcs.

Did you get a package or a massage only? Were you able to get the massage done outside? We are looking to have this type of service. Also to do they do a couple's massage and not just the 'teaching' one advertisded on the site?

We didn't go with a package - only the separate treatments. I had a massage and scrub with wrap and DH had a massage alone. They were awesome, and the facility is absolutely beautiful. When you're done you take a shower in their open-air lava rock showers!

We didn't inquire about getting them done outside - at first I thought that would be nice but wondered if hearing anyone would be a distraction. We didn't hear anything about the teaching one - DH wouldn't have been interested though!

I did a massage outside along the beach, it was perfect
So nice to hear the ocean waves and smell the fresh air as you get your massage. THey have a little 'hut' to shield you from the public

I also did and in room massage which was also awesome. i did that one for 90 miinutes and it was so relaxing and perfect.

LIZ did you do at the Kauai Hyatt or in Maui?? They don't do it in Kauai anymore...
I am on a mission now b/c that is exactly what we are looking for.

Their spa is AMAZING! We didn't do anything outside but their treatment rooms are very open and airy and they feel like you are outside. I had the papaya body polish.... which was sooooo good. My husband did the hot stone massage and he said he felt like he was drunk afterwards (but in a good way).

Book things as soon as you get there. It wasnt a busy week when we were there, but it was not easy to schedule an appointment. If you know what you want before you get there, maybe book in advance if you can.

I also agree with Teri...... try the showers. They have the best smelling soaps! We bought them to take home!
