Keepsake Florals?
Just wondering if anyone has used this company to preserve your wedding bouquet? If so, how did they turn out? My daughter just got married in Nov. and we have sent her bouquet to be preserved & put in a shadowbox. Thanks.

Re: Keepsake Florals?
I sent my flowers there -- and had my design appt. over the phone in late October and really had no idea what arrangement I wanted since I sent in my DH's boutonaire too. So I rescheduled my design appt. to late November. I had a hard time deciding on my frames and fabrics for the shadowbox and had them send me some samples and it made it much easier to decide on the look I wanted for my preserved flowers. Tell her to sask for some samples it helped me. And I also looked at all their galleries of finished flowers for ideas on the look I wanted. They told me from that appt. it would take 10 to 14 weeks to finish everything. When it ships I will get an-email with tracking info.I can't wait to see how they will turn out -- I loved my bo-k on my wedding day and really wanted to keep them somehow -- this was the right choice for me
This is the SAMPLE I modeled my keepsake off off --- I just used the cherry brocade frame and taupe silk fabirc.

Re: Keepsake Florals?
I've dried bo-ks myself from friends weddings -- and they are still in my room at my parents house -- but like you said they get knocked over and start falling apart -- this wasn't cheap
but I figured when else would I have another bo-k to preserve
when I get my shadowbox I will be sure to post pictures of the finished product I cant wait!!

My first appt. was mid Oct. and I kinda knew what I wanted but not 100% when the consultant started asking me all these questions in order to design my shadowbox -- so my advice is definitely look at all the samples on their site and request frame and fabric samples to help you make your decisions easier
best of luck!! can't wait to see my flowers again

Re: Keepsake Florals?
i wish i had done this- i love my bo-k. i would have liked to preserve it but by the end of night my flowers were dying anyhow because of the weather so I dumped them after 2 weeks or so ( thats how long i was able to hold on to them before the flies started appearing)
