What about asking her parents what she likes? I think at 11 you can start incorporating more 'adult' foods. You can do turkey burgers, grilled chicken cutlets with BBQ sauce or duck sauce, grilled chicken parm, pizza, roasted potatoes, salad, etc.

Maybe you can make your own pizza's? You can put your own veggies on them and tons of yummy healthy stuff.

Pasta is good, maybe you can make meat balls and she can roll them into balls???

I am racking my brain right now lol if I think of any more I will post.

i like that making your own pizza idea. When I was younger, I used to LOVE doing that!!! Bobili (sp?) is such a good brand. The crust is already made and they have special sauce to get with it (which is yummy). So all you're doing is just putting it together and it's DELICIOUS!!! I remember also doing the kind where you make your own crust - which is fun but time consuming and not as tasty. lol.

I think that would be so fun to do with her!

Boboli is so good, but it's so bad for you!

they make a whole wheat boboli that is still yummy and healthier.

i also like making the crust myself and that's ALWAYS fun with a kid - you can use ww flour.

I think kids love lasagna - I made one for easter that was sausage meat and cottage cheese (instead of ricotta), spinach, provolone.... all my nieces and nephews devoured it!

I usually make little 'pizza' on tortilla wraps. You can get the whole wheat ones, this way you aren't using as much bread either. Or you can make quesadillas with them. I just think they are good b/c they don't have a lot of bread and they come in different flavors, spinach , whole wheat, sun dried tomato. So you even have a few choices.
