omg my dh was cutting a grilled cheese and our steak jknife broke.....I havent even had it for a year.....it is a henckels brand so I cant believe it broke...I will have to contact bbb....

we have a farberware knife block and i loooove it! u should be able to call the company who makes and im sure they'll send u a new knife... totally shouldnt have broken.

we have the henckels pro s DH is a chef so we had to get the most expensive ones!!
thats strange that it would break...i would def contact bbb or even the company and see about getting it replaced.

Henkles is supposed to be great. The only one that is ranked better is Wustoff. I would contact Henckles directly.

i have some amazing german cant pronouce culinary knives that are AMAZING but i use everyday and love to death my cheap 40 dollar RACHEL RAY knives

I have the Henkels Pro S too, and we haven't had a problem so far...besides the knives dulling very quickly. I preferred the Wusthof, but when we didn't get them at the shower and had to buy them ourselves we went for the better deal.

the BESTTTT knives i have are from homegoods. 5.99 each. they come in funky colors.. i dont knwo the name of it.. but theres a swiss flag on it. they are SOOOO sharp

Do you wash them in the dishwasher, that makes them dull faster. My cousin is a knife sharpener so I know all the tricks.

Nope, I hand wash them. I don't have a dishwasher, so everything gets hand washed, but regardless I wouldn't put them in a dish washer even if I had one. So I don't get their deal. Still better than what I had to use at my parents, but not what I expected from such a good brand.
