Okay this might be a really stupid question, feel free to point and laugh at me about it... However I have to ask

Is poultry seasoning vegetarian? Would you eat it?

I'm making hte stuffing for Thanksgiving and my FSIL is a vegetarian I want to make sure she can eat it too.

It's usually vegetarian - it's usually just a blend of seasonings. Did you buy it pre-made? If there are any ingredients that you're unsure of, list them for me and I'll tell you.

If it's for stuffing though, she might not eat it if it was in the bird (if she's strict like I am)...I just made my own stuffing and bring it with me LOL...my fam is used to that. But if you want to be sweet, you can always make a small amount on the stove for her.

Yes! I am making half and half. She wouldn't eat it from inside the bird. Infact neither do I, it freaks me out. lol

Yes I was going to buy store brand like McCormick's I haven't gotten it yet let me see if I can find the ingrediants for that brand online and if I am unsure I'll post them for your help.

Thyme
Sage
Marjoram (? not sure what this is....)
Rosemary
Black Pepper
Nutmeg

I just looked up what Marjoram is. It's similar to Oregano so I guess I'm safe!

I'm a vegetarian and I like poultry seasoning. It is just spices and I put a ton of spices in everything I make.

Also, Chicken stock is obviously not vegetarian, so if you make half of it outside of the bird (which it then becomes a dressing) use veggie stock.
