Ladies....did you keep ALL your proofs?

and make copies of ones for people (like if it was a proof of a couple at your wedding) or did you give some away?? People want them and I don't know if I should give them away or make copies?

We kept all of ours....we bought the CD from our photographer so we could upload them and reprint at will.

I didn't get my proofs yet, but I know my friend gave me one of hers that was of me & my husband.
ETA--I think I will give minr away too , because I think I also get a CD.

I did give a handful to both sets of parents - mostly the shots that I had 3-4+ of - I felt I didn't need that many of the same picture.

I'm keeping 95% of my proofs. I scanned most of them onto Shutterfly and had prints made for some people (like my grandma), rather than give them the origianl proofs

The only proofs I did give away were those that I just didn't want -- mainly because I had many duplicate copies of certain people, or they were of certain couples that I thought would appreciate them more than we did (i.e., pics of my boss and his wife, my brother&sil dancing, many of the duplicate kids shots I gave to their parents, etc.)

I am keeping all my proofs. I have them all on CD so I can order them from Shutterfly.

I think I'll give some away such as a couples from work that I'm not really really that close with. A friend 'husbands classmate' is getting married this Friday at Crest Hollow and I think Il'l give her the actual proof.

I can't part with any of my proofs...even the ones that I don't like... .

If I ever get a scanner, I will probably scan some and order them...but, once I pick up my album from my photographer, I get all negatives so maybe I'll just order them from those.

we kept all of our's, but we've made copies of some of them to give to people.....

I made a small book of about 24 proofs for my father but the rest are MINE!

I had about 1200 proofs and am going to be giving some of them to my family.

There are just too many, most of them of almost the exact same shot - so I figured it would be better to give them away and have others enjoy them and show them off...

What good are they going to do sitting in my album alone.

not only did i keep all my proofs, i asked for the negatives.
