Ladies who had ballgowns:what kind of slip did you use???

Did anyone have those hoop skirts? I have no idea what to get.....

my slip was named 'tons of tulle' there was no hoop just layers and layers of tulle!

My gown already had a ton of tulle, but I wanted it fuller so I wore a 3 hoop slip (that had some tulle also). I got it from an eBay seller called angelsbridal. It was only like $30.

I forget where she got it, but Tara (Peabody) had a great slip. FM her about it.

I had my dress made and she gave me two crinolins to wear...one was attached and one had an elastic band waste..they were both pretty full

Hi!

I wore a triple layer crinoline under mine plus the dress had another layer of crinoline built in. The satin is pretty heavy though so it was not as poofy as it might have been if the fabric were lighter.

The hoop will give you a different look so you might want to try different slips under your real dress once it comes in so you can decide what you like....

My cronoline/bridal slip has 3 hoops. My ballgown bridal gown was already puffy, but I wanted additional puffyness and wore a cronoline/bridal slip of 3 hoops. Both pics are the same cronoline.

I used a hoop skirt that I bought online from ebay. Everyone made fun of me when they saw it (including the ladies at the bridal salon) but it worked out great. It gave the skirt the exact look I wanted. I have even lent the skirt to several friends.
