If you wrote your own vows…did you write them on a card and read off the card? Did you memorize them? I have them on a card but is it too impersonal if im staring at the card the whole time reading and not looking at FH?
I wrote them on a card and read them, but kept looking up at DH as I read them and he did the same. My Reverend told me to def not try to memorize because when you're actually up there, you will more than likely be really nervous and probably forget everything in the moment.
