lasagna question
Ok, so I've only made manicotti, not lasagna. When I make my ricotta filling for the manicotti I use eggs... when you make lasagna (meatless) or baked ziti, do you do this? or just use the ricotta straight up?

i never use eggs and mine comes out just fine.
I never use eggs- as long as you use at least the part-skim ricotta you are fine- the fat free doesnt hold up as well.
I use one egg and season it with salt, pepper and parmesan cheese.
I make mine with meat sauce, but if I wouldnt I wouldnt use eggs. It holds up just find bc of the mozzarella cheese.
I'm making lasagna tonight! my first time
never made lasagna but when I made baked ziti I didn't use eggs....I am just going by what my Dad told me to do though.
i don't use the eggs, but I know a lot of people that do.
1 egg, 1/3 cup of mozzerella, Parmesan cheese, salt and pepper. it holds the cheese together more.
