So excited to go away and relax for a bit, but a little nervous since it'll be my first time flying. We're going to San Juan, and the weather is supposedly going to rain all 4 days we're there, amazing!!!! But I think it ALWAYS says rain there because it's humid and rarely does and if so it's brief.
Does anyone have any recommendations to do while you're there? We're only going to have 2 full days there since Thursday and Sunday are travel days.

No - I was there for 6 hours when I was 13 so I can't imagine anything I did (Hard Rock Cafe ... ) would be worth your while!
Just have a GREAT time and enjoy the warm weather - rain or not! At least it's not SNOW!

I went to Puerto Rico 5 years ago.
There's an awesome restaurant called Dragonfy-the food and atmosphere is really great, and I believe the owners of there also have a great bar down the street.
Also, the water club is a fabulous hotel with a roof top lounge and good food. It was quite a hot spot for night time.

OMG and bring bug spray!!!!!!!!!!!! When I was there I got the worst mosquito bites!!
It will be cheaper if you buy it here instead of there.

totally agree about the bug spray! I'm a travel nerd so I loved the old fort in Old San Juan. Oh and the rain forest is pretty cool too.

Ahhh yeah, totally forgot about that! I think DH's parents might have some we can borrow...I hope. I've already made so many CVS runs I DID remember to get Pepto though just in case we have any problems with the water!

Have an amazing time...at least your leaving NY before it gets soooooo cold the rest of this week. When we went to Mexico the weather said rain everyday, it didn't rain once. Don't stress.

Have fun! and yeah it always says rain!! dont worry even if it does rain it will rain for like 10 mins and then clear up! have the best time!!! take lots of pictures!

have fun!!!! well - I went once but YEARS ago - all I remember is going caving - we went swimming in this underground cave - La Cueva Kintin or something like that - but don't imagine you'd do that on a short trip!!! have fun !

You can go to old san juan. I was there for like 3 days before boarding a cruise. I remember hanging by the hotel pool a lot. Oh and the couqi!! The lil froggies!!! LOVE THEM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
