LEESAH

Was it you that had mentioned that you knew someone who buys gold? If not, does anyone remember that post a few months ago or have someone they can recommend? I have a few things I want to get rid of.

TIA

Re: LEESAH

i dont know anyone personally, but i've always just brought mine to tri county and have found that the Romanza stand pays the best for it and they generally take anything - silver, 10K, 14K, etc.

Re: LEESAH

i was speaking with my grandmother this weekend who is in the jewelry business (in florida) and what she explained to me this weekend is that places may pay more, but they get you on the weight. meaning if you really had 8oz of gold, they will tell you that you have 6oz. so sometimes just bc they pay the most doesnt mean you are getting the most. her advice is to check the going rate in the market to see what gold is at and also to weigh it yourself you have an idea when you go to a jeweler.
