Has anyone who has taken their husband's last name gone to court to change thier middle name to thier maiden name?
I want to do this but I really don't know how!

i thought when you filled out the marriage license that you could fill in your middle name with your maiden name and then your last name as your married name? then when you changed your license and ss card, etc that is what you would put.
i don't think you need to go to court to do this.

They changed that rule about a year agi and you aren't allowed to do it on the marriage liscense anymore--so annoying

Check with your county clerk's office/City Hall. Most likely, you have to get a lawyer to go through all the legal proceedings.
