has anyone noticed less tax $$ being taken out of their paychecks?!
i heard we were supossed to be seeing a differenece... how much of a difference, i dont know... but i was wondering if anyone knows anything about this.....

AHH okay b/c some ppl on LIF are saying they started seeing a difference
yes i heard we are getting another stimulus as well.. but im not sure if that is happening?!

I got my paycheck today and it was about $20 more than usual! I was told its due to the stimulus thing Pres Obama is doing. I am happy my paycheck is more though!

my most recent paycheck was about $20 more than usual. my company sent out an email that stated:
Effective with the March 5th, pay cycle, you may have noticed a slight change in your net pay. New withholding tables may have reduced the amount of federal income tax withheld from your wages. The new tables, prescribed by the Treasury Department, reflect the Making Work Pay credit and other changes resulting from the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009.

mine hasn't budged...but i get paid tomorrow, so we'll see...
i DO know that my bil who was laid off a while back(who has 3children under the age of 4) just got his severence check cut in HALF. and no, i don't mean the taxes, i mean his actual check.
i can't stand this economy. i just want things to get better

Instead of giving each person a lump sum for the stimulus the plan is ti take out less each paycheck so we will be more likely to spend it rather than pay off credit cards.
