Let's Wear our Gown's Again!!!!!

It was spoken about in an old post.

It has always been on my mind. I don't know if you girls were joking but I would love to do it.

I work with the CVB, I can ask one of my co-worker's to help me find a place for us to have our 1st Wedding Dress GTG

I will see if I need to make calls or send out possible leads to help us find a place.

Maybe Ron and Liz can help us

What do you girls think?

Do you have any other ideas?

Please let us know.

bummer...mine's already been preserved...

and, it might not fit...I gained about 15 pounds since the wedding...eh, it might fit, but it would probably be too tight

awww, I'd LOVE to wear my dress again!!!

I love it so much, BUT I haven't had it cleaned yet.... and I think I've put on a couple pounds since the wedding! It sounds like a really fun idea though, so I'd be game!

Mine isn't clean either. Who cares... It's only dirty on the inside bottom. and we'll have our dresses bustled so you won't be able to see anyways

Maybe we can ask Ron & Liz if LIW can co-sponsor it??? It can be an annual event, and with LIW backing it, I'm sure we'd get hooked up with awesome places and think how many people would come! Just imagine the publicity op for LIW ......

I am down! MY Best friend was going to hold a party herself. This is great. And for the girls who gained a few pounds-it will force you to lose them to fit back in your dress. Just think!

I would absolutely wear my dress again, even if I had to pay $150 to get it cleaned again!

I don't know if DH would be into something like this...but I would definitely be into wearing it again!

edited to say: I know about a year ago, i read an article in the NY times about a bunch of women who did it at a big hotel in San Francisco. I'll try to find the archive article.
