What is the deal with that? I get out of work and I am super happy. I mean if you think of it - we are not home from work THAT many hours until bed. . . why waste so much time beingg grumpy!

Re: Lets Pretend..................
my DH is the most impatient person i've ever known, so i would definitely like him to learn a little bit of patience. it would also take away some of his intolerable road rage as well.

I have no clue. He comes home and says, you didn't finish the laundry, or you left the pen on the table. He nitpicks.

Re: Lets Pretend..................
wow which 1 thing to pick
The one thing that i really wish he would change about himself is his 'glass is half-empty' way of looking at things. He always finds the bad in situations and focuses on that and can't look at it from a positive perspective. So whenever certain situations come up he tends to look at the worst of it and depending on what it is he gets down about it, so i try to always find the positive in things and show him that. It can be hard bc in life theres always obstacles, and yes ill be unhappy with it too or a bit stressed out but try to see it as 'this too shall pass' or seeing some positive in it, but he will just be so down about it and its hard to stay positive when hes so negative about it and freaking out. Also have to worry about him with anxiety attacks, and he handles situations alot differently than most so i worry about this all the time when things go wrong, not even saying with us but any bumps in the road like going through so much BS with this mortgage or anything like that. I worry alot about how he will handle anything going wrong. I have to make sure he doesn't go into a depression bc he is manic depressive and getting out of that anxiety, depressed mood can be hard.

Re: Lets Pretend..................
i'd want him to be more open about feelings, because he says he feels 'unmanly' if he expresses too much emotion
and i'd definitely change his job so we could move back to new york ASAP

Ummm....I dont want anything to change! Honestly I really wouldnt change anything about him. I just married him a year ago....I wouldnt have married him if I wanted him to change. Trust me we really dont have any issues....I thank God everyday for my DH and to me hes perfect. I thought hard about this question...it never ever came to my mind to change anything about him.

Re: Lets Pretend..................
I think DH as a whole is perfect but broken down....there are a cple things I would change.....He has a super nasty Italian Attitude Problem. Everything I ask him or just talking he gets so loud and animated and the voice keeps going up until he's yelling Makes me insane....but then again, I have to laugh...it's one of the things I fell in love with!!!!

Re: Lets Pretend..................
I'd make him learn to relax. I have the opposite problem that alot of the girls have. FH is a neat freak who likes everything done yesterday. If there is laundry not done, he's all over it!!! He just cant put anything off- everythings gotta be done right now!
