ok so in all seriousness, the argyle is great, and the carriage house is great too. personally having grown up in babylon 'lily's' will always be barkers and my parents hung out there, so it's like tainted to me. that place has had so many friggin names over the years. it was barkers forever, then flannigans then fire (or vice versa) now lilys.
haha I know it seriously had 5 different names. It was barkers first then I think it went to Fire and then Flannigans now Lily's. But when ti was Fire it was really funny to see some of those people walk outta there. When it was Barkers wasn't it more of a biker bar?
i think it may have been bikeresque sometimes, but i know it it's later days attracted a much older crowd. it had a hard time recovering from that stigma i think.

Personally, I prefer the Nut in Bayshore, but I figured if we were already IN babylon, we should just stay in babylon.

OOOH right across the street from Argyle is Mary Carol's, really nice. My best friend's husband owns it and we always have a blast when we go there! I use to work for Lily's back in the day and always had a blast there as well!
