Limo driver tips

Can someone who has been through this help me?

I don't want to say which Limo company I am using because so far I've had really great communication with them. HOwever they sent me a letter stating to look over the information I gave them (address, itinerary) and also to let me know that the tip should be, for a 14 passenger limo - $140.
And for the rolls - $125.

Now I don't mind that much they are letting me know. I do mind that it's ALOT of money.

Am I out of touch? We are only using it for 3 hours each. Well the 14 passenger will be more like 4 hours. I just can't see where they get that number from. All they'll be doing is getting me in and out of the car, no runner at the church and I guess stocking up any liquor.

Do you girls think that is too much? FH already said no way we're paying them that much as a tip but if that is what they expect I'm embarassed to give them any less.

Any advice appreciated, thank you!

ETA: and they are not providing a limo to drop us off at the hotel which I would have thought they might do gratis for booking them.

That is weird that they are telling you how much to tip. I hate hearing that. My limo company had said that tip was included in the package but we still did tip an additional $50 to our driver (we only had 1 limo- Escalade). We also got the free pickup included with our pacakge.

Ours was included in contract and was about $75 for a 4 passenger rolls for 3 hours. We did not tip anything additional.

Ours was also included in the price...and we didn't tip extra...I think they included $75-85.

Tip was already included in our price but we gave the drivers an extra 50 or 75 each. If you have already had grat factored in, its crazy to expect another few hundred on top. If not, thats probably a good number.

its usually 20 percent and its figured into the price. mine was included in the price and i gave extra because i had janice and she is amazing

Well the tip isn't in the contract and I still think $140 is alot if you girls tipped half that. But if we tip any less we look like cheapos or the limo drivers didn't do a good job.
