Little J

I saw that you made Tilapia last week. I wrote on the other post but I'm not sure if you'll see it. Would you mind sharing your recipe? I want to make it this week but I'm not sure how to prepare it.

TIA!

Re: Little J

The last time I made Tilapia, I baked it at 350 for like 10-20 minutes. not sure. Didn't time it. Just watched it. I put the tilapia in a baking pan, covered it with squeezed lemon, fresh garlic and a little bit of bread crumbs. It was yummy

MMM, these both sound yummy! And of course in both recipes I am missing 1 ingrediant...

But I'll run to the store because I HAVE to try these!

Re: Little J

basically all the fish ive made so far is with foil packets. why???? 1 - its easy. 2 - tastes great. 3 - NO CLEAN UP!!!!

so last time i made tilapia, i just put on some cajun seasoning on top...just spread it all over....and then some lime juice. it was soooo good. it was my first time trying the cajun seasoning and i loved it!

previously, i have used rasberry vinagerette - also verry verry good (if you like sweet stuff)

but seriously. just experiment with different marinades, seasonings and the foil packets!

just make sure to leave an air bubble so it can steam cook.

i put it in the broiler (why even bother turning on the oven?!) on 400 for 10-15 minutes.

yummmm

Re: Little J

I didn't use the foil packets but I just put foil on my broiler rack that came with the oven. I want to make more fish so I'm going to try all of these. We're getting 'happy fat' in my house and we need to make more healthy dinners.

Thanks again!

take aluminum foil. place fish in the middle. add seasoning/marinade/juices/oils/etc. close aluminum foil, but leave some air on top of the fish. ...so dont close it tight, leave room.

then pop it in oven. the fish cooks and steams in the juices. comes out super delish!

and then you just throw the foil out, so you dont dirty any pans
