Hi girls. I'm not technically married yet (6/18), but have been living with FH for about 4 1/2 years now. Has anyone else been in this situation? and if so, does get different, or stay the same? Obviously, we're not going to have the excitement of living together for the first time, but what else should I expect? Thanks Girls.

I really think living together before we were married was a good thing. We were adjusted to living with each other before the wedding.
Everyone always says the first year of marriage is the toughest. We are six months into our first year and could not be happier. However looking back to our first year living together was very difficult, we fought and almost went our seperate ways now that I think about it.
So I am all for living together before marriage. I really think it benefited us.

If anything changed it was only for the better! We lived togather 6 mths after we got engaged and 1.5 years before we got married.

DH and I lived together for over 6 years before we were married. That stays the same, but after you get married, everything means so much more. It's a greater, deeper feeling of love and happiness.

i completely agree. Living together stays the same, but to me, it just feels more complete
