Does anyone take this? I got put on it right after my honeymoon.
Here is my concern. Since my wedding day I have gained 33 lbs. I figured it was from the stomach issues I had in the fall. But for the last month I am working out 5 days a week, and for the last two months I have been following WW, and seeing no results. I have lost 2 lbs. in 8 weeks. I did some research last night and it seems people were complaining that they gained 10-30 lbs. from this pill. Anyone had any experience with it?
Meanwhile I have a wedding this weekend and none of my dresses fit. I have to go buy a size 14. I could cry.

I don't miss being on birth control 1 bit. I stopped taking it 3 years ago and I have never felt so great in my life. The first year off was rough, long cycles, short cycles, etc., but it was worth it!

I HATE THIS PILL! MY gyn had put me on this pill back in march 2008 because I had an irregular cycle, ( I could go 6 months without a period) at first you dont notice the weight gain, to be honest I hardly even had a period on this pill. Flash forward to jan 09 I had put on almost 40 pounds!!!!!!! ***!!!!!!!!!! I was back on ww, as I was in weding dress mode but the scale was not moving. I told my Gyn ' I know that I like to eat but this is ridiculous. I told her I was going off of it and I did not care about having a period for the wedding, I wanted the wt off. Needless to say 2 weeks after I stopped the pill, The weight was coming off, and I lost the 40 pounds for the wedding. plus my period never even showed up that month go stress!!! LOL I do not reccommend this pill to anyone! (PS I have since put on 12 pounds but I Blame DH and Carvel for that!!)

Thanks because they put me on this right after my honeymoon and I am up 35 lbs. I was sick this winter and I know I gained from that a little. And the pina coladas on my honeymoon probably accounted for 5 lbs. But 35 is ridiculous. I have been doing WW for 3 months and been a gym rat for 6 weeks and haven't lost A SINGLE LB. Your message gives me hope. I just stopped taking it last night. I will let you know what happens.

So I felt horrible today coming off the pill. I was thinking was this worth it. But I figured I should see if its working at all. Its only been two days but I figured I may have lost a lb. I dropped 4 lbs since I stopped taking the pill two days ago. Its the first time I have been under 160 since November. (Until October I had never been over 150 in my life and I started taking this pill in Sept.)
I wish I had thought of this correlation a month ago, I might not have had to go buy a fat dress for this weekends wedding.

i know the whole BC pill thing can be crazy... taking them and then coming off them! so hopefully your ride will be a smooth one!
I'm not good on BC pills. I hate them!! they make me not feel like me... like i'm a bit off or something. I prefer to not take them.

I am sorry that you felt horrible, did you wait till you were at the placebos till you stopped or were you in the middle of the hormones? Regardless, I am glad that the wt is coming off for you, enjoy the wedding!!

I just stopped. I know your supposed to wait but summer is less then a month away and I am sick and tired of working so hard and not losing any weight. And I couldn't get an appointment until Memorial Day so I said thats it, I'm done. I don't care how I feel coming off right now if I can be back in my normal clothes by summer. If I have to buy bigger clothes for summer too I will cry.

your cycle may be off and you may start to spot early because you did not finish the month, I would leave a message with your gyn that you stopped the pill. I understand what you went thru, I could not believe how much wt that stupid pill put on.
