Lombardi's on the Sound

Has anyone gone to a wedding at Lombardi's on the Sound? If so how was the food, atmosphere, decor? Was the ballroom/cocktail hour room decorated?

I went to one in December. The food was excellent, the room is gorgeous! The bride had it decorated as a winter theme and it was all monocromatic creams and whites. Absoloutely beautiful. The details and moldings and shiny marble floors were so elegant.

The staff was very accomodating and made sure that we received our 'to go' swans because we had to leave the wedding early. I had such a great time.

This was not the bride and groom's original venue either. They were originally booked for Venetian Yacht Club, but that venue was damaged during Sandy. Lombardi's is under the same ownership and luckily they had an opening for that date.

I would def recommend this venue considering they helped my friend who was devastated about the Venetian one month before her wedding and it is just a beautiful venue.

Sorry didn't read the whole question. I think that the rooms were decorated like any other venue's rooms. The bride chose the decorations/linens etc...
