Someone posted this on the LIF home board a few months ago: Great Schools

I think that there are lots of things you will need to consider and a great school for one family may not be a great school for another. You need to figure out what is important to you:

Is it small class size?
Is it the rate of high school graduates?
Is it the number of AP courses offered?
Is it the type of teaching style done in elementary schools?

There are lots of things to consider.

do not take online websites word when deciding on a school district. You have to do a GREAT DEAL of research in order to get the full information. You will have to use great schools, NYS report cards, district press releases, everything... Nothing paints the enire picture.
