That's so nice! My mom tried to preserve it, didn't come out too well

i had mine preserved too...a lot of $$ but i love it! i also dried my petals from the bridemaid bo-k that was left behind and then gave the girls clear glass ornaments decorated with their name in silver or gold ink with the petals inside of them as part of their christmas gift (my dh makes fun of me calling it very 'martha stewart!). we had a few of the balls left over and hang them on our tree...it was fun putting them up this yr and last!

I love that idea! And the bo-k in the frame looks gorgeous. I wish I'd done something like that.

i love that idea... my roses were red and dried like that too.. all i did was the day after the wedding shove them into our wishbowl and they dried along with one of my bridesmaids bok's.. ill have to try that shadowbox idea
