Mailed my application for SS

And still nothing - that was three weeks ago. I called the SSA office - both the general and the local one in Queens and so far they have no activity on my number. So that means that either my paperwork is lost or just sitting somewhere. Ughhh - my own fault for not calling in sick and just going in person. Now I have to wait another 2-3 weeks before I know anything.

Not sure if you read my post, but I did that at the Queens Rego Park office and it wsa 4 hours to wait. It was pure hell. I am sure they are backloged.

once i get my marriage certificate, i'm take a day off and going to the local office.
