My husband & I are moving to the suburbs. Please contact me at [email protected] if you are interested in our apt (we rent it, the lease would be w the mgmt co). We have lived there for a year and a half, and love it.

I'm not sure why you think I am not telling the truth. My husband and I are trying to get out of our lease because we bought a house. If we find someone to take the apartment for a new lease, we'll get our security deposit back. I cut and pasted the pic from my building's website (www.theanthemny.com)

It's not nice to make assumptions.

Sorry you think the girls are being rude, but normally people on this board introduce themselves before posting something they are trying to 'sell'. Because advertisers have to pay to be on this site the girls don't like when people invade our boards to 'sell' things, especially from people we don't know. So while it's not nice to make assumptions, it's also not nice to not be polite and introduce yourself and explain what you are doing!

I have been on the knot.com since I got engaged in 2003, and then rejoined again recently, but it seems that people are on it sporadically and don't ever send a post just to introduce themselves. Is this more of a kind of board where people know each other? I'm not sure what I should have done, maybe sent an introductory post?

Anyway, I do have a great apartment, and I'm not a broker, just a girl who's nervous about having to pay rent while also paying a mortgage.

Yes we are a board that we get to know everyone pretty well. We post pictures and share a lot of our lives. We have GTG's and honestly are a pretty friendly group. We welcome new people openly, we just don't react well when we think they are vendors

The breakfast thing is EVERYWHERE down here in Delaware. My complex had it but no one ever went so they don't have it anymore. But seriously, girls, for what we paid on Long Island you can get a gorgeous luxury apt. down here - where they have free breakfasts in the clubhouse every weekday.
