We got cc'd on a letter to the Rabbi saying that they can't release our marriage certificate, as there was 'witness name and/or address' missing. The letter said that the officiant has to write a clarification.
Luckily, we are friendly with the Rabbi, we called him and he said that when he gets the letter, he will wrote the appropriate letter to the Clerk. But I'm flipping out

Sounds like a similar problem Gail had. I think their Rabbi had the names of the wrong lines if I remember correctly.

yep. the rabbi was suppose to put a letter with the certificate when he mailed it. we had to resign it and got it back in a matter of days. who was your rabbi?

It was my husband's rabbi from childhood. I think it may be a problem with the Clerk...

I called the town clerk's office on Thursday and they said they still had not received my marriage license from the Rabbi!

that's strange. on the envelope it said it needs by 5 or 10 days of the event. have u got into with the rabbi

I called and left a message with him on Thursday. I will give it a few more days and call again.
