I cant believe this is still an issue, this is 2011 for pete's sake. disgusting that any person's right has to be voted on for a certain group of ppl.

I think they want some kind of wording in there that those who opposed performing the cermonies will not get sued. I could be wrong though - heard a little part of it on the news this morning as I was rushing to get out of the house after waking up about a half hour before my train

it just annoys me that NY keeps stalling ....

gay people will get married regardless (they'll jut go to MA or Canada or whatnot) ... i don't understand why it's so difficult to give all people the same rights

what REALLY annoys me is one of the people (and people like him) who commented on the Senate's FB page ... he posted a link to some guy who married a dog and said 'is this what's next?' ... some people are so insanely ignorant
