The marriage CERTIFICATE was waiting when we returned from our HM. But they say it takes 6-8 weeks...

Ours came from the town after 3 weeks.

I think the length of time depends on what month you get married. More popular wedding months might take a little longer to get your certificate.

If you got it at Queens, I have a number you can contact and they will do it right away. I did it this morning. I told her that mine may have been lost and she took care of it right away.
Here's the number- 718-286-2847- she was really helpful and actually answered the phone.

I don't have the number but here's tip if you find one. Dial the number but with the last number changed one digit up or down. That is how I finally got a hold someone.
