Mine said we got married on the wrong date. It's the day after our actual wedding? Will I not be able to go through with the changing of the last name until it is fixed???

not many places require the license. only place that requires proof is insurance, banks, etc...
and more importantly the date is important with insurance benefits cause you have 30 days to make changes to a benefit plan once you are married cause it's a life change.
i would call the town hall and ask how to correct it

I don't think anyone looks at or cares about your wedding date (except if you add your spouse to your health insurance). I don't see why you can't just take your certificate to SS office and DMV to start the name changing process. They just want to see the certificate.
