Massages

Totally random, but do any of your husbands get massages? I'm not saying like on a regular basis....here's a good measure: did any of you get a couples massage on your HMs?!

My husband is so adamantly against the idea of getting a massage. So much so that he really put his foot down and wouldn't get a couples massage with me in Maui....

Thing is, he is under a tremendous amount of stress (without going into detail...sick family member) and he works out 6 days a week. He'll like lie on the floor because his back is so tight and he'll ask me to walk on him while he's lying there.

I just wish he would give in and go for one...not like a girlie girlie place. By NO means am I into the idea of guys getting massages or mani/pedis (icccckk I actually really don't like when dudes are at the nail place). I just think a massage will really help him.

my DH has never had one and doesn't want one. he isn't keen on strangers touching him.

Ya...that's dh's take on the situation too - and I get it. His back just kills him and I feel like it would really help but I'm not gonna push anymore than I already have.

dh doesnt but bil does. i think if hes at the mall he gets it.
off subject-your '+' on your rh in your name really throws my liw screen size off.
is it just my computer?

Ya...bottom line...my DH will NEVER get one either. Guess I'll have to keep walking on his back haha.

On the other hand, I LOVE massages!

One of our first vacations together and he got one... he loved it! So now, ONLY on vacation, will he splurge for a massage...

(I did swear though I'd never do a couples massage with him again... he fell asleep and started snoring... It was way too hard for me to relax feeling so embarrassed!)

this was my DH! He didnt like the idea of it BUT we did do a couples massage in Maui on the second day of our HM! I LOVED it (as always) and he was like meh but didnt hate it which is good!

where did you stay in maui??

my DH got his certificate in Massage Therapy.....

TOO BAD im his only customer bc i wont let him practice! LMAOOOOOO

We stayed at the Ritz in Kapalua and the Marriott in Wailea......longing for maui.........

We had such a freakin blast!!!!!!!!!!!

i love maui, we stayed at the four seasons. i actually grew up going there over xmas break with my family so my dad decided to start a tradition - he sent my bro and SIL on their HM there, sent me and DH and plans to send my sister when she gets married and then he says one day he wants to take his entire 'brood' there...all 3 of us with our spouses and kids!

Matt wouldnt get a massage with me either! i was pushing for the couples hot stone.

I got a massage and something else i forget (scalp and foot massage?) at the Ritz in Maui but it was so expensive I could barely enjoy it. Then there was a cockroach the size of my fist in the sauna so i didnt stick around too long to enjoy the hot tub and sauna etc afterwards LOL.

But it can be an expensive habit so I dont mind that's not his thing. But I hear you on the working out a lot/stress... trying to think if there's a guys alternative........

DH's sister and brother stayed at the 4seasons on their HMs. SIL's in law's paid for it and BIL's in laws also paid for theirs. My ILs paid for our airfare which was awesome thoughtful and awesome but we paid for the rest so we splurged on the Ritz for a week and then moved to Wailea for the 2nd week!

We met a fun couple and hung out with them at the 4Seasons infinity pool - GORG- loved the swim up bar!!!
