Re: mexico all inclusive help!
check out any of the Palace resorts in cancun--they are adults only and usually well priced. my parents stayed at the Cancun Palace i think--and they loved it.
the ones i stayed out the 2x i've gone have changed names so i'm not sure what they are now.

I've been researching bc I want to take a November trip too -
I loved Excellence Mujeres - it's 5 stars, so it's pricer, but it got 4.8 rating on Tripadvisor (out of 5) - I am very picky.
Direct flight out of JFK to cancun at reasonable times, 4 nights all inclusive for 2 = 3500. (expensive, I know). Share what you come up with!

i don't know what the price would be for nov, but we had to go to a destination wedding in may at dreams resort & spa in cancun and it was really great! i wished we were able to stay longer than the 4 days. from what i hear, the dreams in puerto vallarta is also pretty good. puerto vallarta is definitely a cool place; less touristy than cancun, but i've never stayed at an all inclusive there, so i'm not much help.

I've stayed at the Royal in Playa del Carmen- very reasonable (you saw those pics), but it's a bit out of Cancun (about an hour). It's close to an area with nightlife though- walking distance - which is great if you want to get out! and Excellence Riviera Cancun- might be more than you want to spend but it's SOOO worth it!
Definitely check out tripadvisor.com!

DH and I went to the Excellence Riviera Cancun last month and we loooooved it! I'm not sure what price range you're looking for, but it's about $400/night. A little bit much, but definitely worth it!

We honeymooned at Dreams Puerto Vallarta too and loved it. Definately worth looking into. We got a great deal (booked late) didn't get a suite, just a deluxe room or whatever but it was nice. This resort is awesome. Food was excellent, service top notch, spa kicked ***...we can't wait to go back one day.

Check out Valentin - it is not expensive (compared to the other all-incluse adult only 5-star resorts) We're going there next month and paying about $1,200 per person, including flight and transfers.
