Did anyone hear that they are planning to build a new hotel on 45th Street and Lexington Avenue? Half the block just went out of business- 2 jewelry stores, Sbarro's, and Wendy's and now I heard McDonald's is closing, too. That just leaves the bank and B&B Works on that block. I was just wondering if anyone heard the same!

didnt hear about it, and was walking by recently (I usually never reach Lex) and didnt notice anything out of the ordinary but another hotel there? as if that whole area not crazy enough

I know! Of alll the things they could put there, a hotel? I can't even imagine that there's enough space! Regy- everything is closed down now, half the block is empty! Just in like the past 2 weeks.
