MIL was just taken to the hospital...

...I know I have said some mean things about her in the past, but I know she is not a horrible individual, just difficult to deal with at times. I hope she is okay. DH is on his way to the hospital. He said the only thing his dad said was that she complained about her stomach hurting. I am wondering if it is kidney stones or something.

I hate when something bad happens to someone I said mean things about. Guilt... killing me...

DH called and said it is either kidney stones or appendicitis. Supposedly they gave her some liquid to drink and they will do a CAT scan. DH said she was screaming her head off and they gave her morphine.

Now that I know she is okay, I have to say that I have known a few people who have had kidney stones and none of them reacted the way she has. I even know someone who had kidney stones when she was pregnant and she didn't freak like MIL.

I hope she feels better soon, although with her I am sure this will go on for a while...

Don't let guilt get in the way of your need to vent, sometimes. You obviously have a good heart and we'll pray for her. Good luck.

Sounds like my mother! I am glad that things are working out and she is feeling a better. She is probably going to be fun to chat with while getting a morphine drip.

Don't feel guilty!! Most of us have said mean things about our MIL's at some point or another. That doesn't mean you want something to happen to her!!

Appendicitis will cause you to scream if its about to burst. I screamed all the way to surgery I was in a lot of pain.. So does gallbladder problems! Taht I didn't scream for though.My sister said her gallbladder was worse then giving birth
